Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival (D)

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh, the largest and busiest city in Vietnam. Once a small fishing village, the city is now the dynamic economic hub of the country with a huge variety of things to see and do. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure. (Note: normal check in time for hotels is 1400; please advise us if you require early check-in)

This evening, chill and savor a welcome dinner in the unparalleled setting of Shri Restaurant. Enjoy a superb panorama of the city as your meal is served.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Vietnam Golf & Country Club Full Day (B)

Enjoy your first round of golf (18 holes) in Ho Chi Minh will be at Vietnam Golf & Country Club. Located just 20 kilometers from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Golf & Country Club is also the nearest golf club to the city center. Set amongst 300 hectares of land, two great golf courses have been carved out of the existing woodland with minimal land movement, leaving you feel that the land was always destined to be a golf course, so natural is the lay-out and design. Once completed, return to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free at leisure.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Long Thanh Golf Full Day (B)

After breakfast, we set off for Long Thanh Golf Club situated 50 minutes from the city.  Being recognized as the best golf course in Vietnam for years by members and visitors, the Club offers 36 holes of golf on a relatively flat area surrounded with scenic countryside atmosphere. Tee off and enjoy a round of golf at either Lake or Mountain Course.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be & Vinh Long Boat Trip (Mekong Delta) (B/L)

Leaving the city behind, we journey two hours to the Mekong Delta town of Cai Be where we embark on the stylish Cai Be Princess boat for an enchanting cruise. The tour begins with a visit to the local floating market, and then we continue the cruise through a large network of lush back waterways. Pause en-route to visit to local home factories where we can watch villagers making traditional rice paper, pop rice and coconut candy. Afterwards we stop at a local brick kiln and gain an insight into traditional methods of hand-making bricks and see palm leaf processing for roofing. Then we head to the superb Indochine style restaurant Longanier for a delicious lunch of Mekong specialties. After lunch we take a short walk along a shady path back to our vehicle and drive back to Saigon.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An – Walking Tour Half Day (B/D)

The ancient town of Hoi An awaits you after an hour flying from Ho Chi Minh City. Board your flight to Da Nang this morning, upon arrival it is a short drive from the airport to Hoi An town. 14:00, a walking tour through the narrow streets of the ancient town visiting the Chinese Assembly Hall, a 200-year-old Tan Ky house and the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge will give us a glimpse of Hoi An’s prosperous past - a bustling international trading port dating back to 16th century. Today, Hoi An is a quiet riverside town, renowned for its quaint architecture, delicious fusion cuisine and excellent 24h tailor-made service. It is a world heritage site listed by UNESCO. We dine tonight at the Green Mango restaurant with Hoi An fusion food. The rest of evening is left free for your own discovery.

Day 6: Hoi An – Montgomerie Links Golf Full Day (B)

Drive to Montgomerie Links Vietnam this morning for a round of 18 holes. It is the first golf course in Central Vietnam and was rated by the 2012 Forbes Travel Guide as one of Asia’s ten most elite courses.  It recently won a prestigious Asia Pacific Property Award.

Day 7: Hoi An – Da Nang Golf Club Full Day (B)

Spend today at the Da Nang Golf Club for another round of golf at the Dunes Course.  It was designed by Australian golf legendary Greg Norman. The course was recently awarded as one of the top 15 layouts to open worldwide in 2010.

Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang – Ha Noi – City Tour Half Day (B)

Leave the hotel early today for a morning flight to Ha Noi - the historic capital and cultural heart of Vietnam, which brims with French colonial architecture, historic and religious sights and beautiful lakes. 13:30 visit the must see historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (view from outside), an imposing monument lavishly built using marble and granite where the preserved body of “Uncle Ho” resides. Then on to the Temple of Literature - the first University in Vietnam founded in 1070. Then head toward Hoan Kiem Lake for a relaxing rickshaw ride (cyclo) through the narrow, chaotic streets of the Old Quarter - known as the ‘36 streets’. The Old Quarter is a labyrinth of roads, alleyways and marketplaces and bustles with local activities. End the day with a traditional water-puppet performance – a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form depicting scenes of rural life and episodes of national history.

Day 9: Ha Noi – Chi Linh Golf Full Day (B)

This course was designed by Australian Independent Golf Course Services, using the latest technologies and turf.   Chi Linh Star Golf Course is North Vietnam‘s most challenging course. It takes less than an hour to drive to the course.  Tee off and enjoy a round of 18 holes in a beautiful valley, surrounded by forested hills and creeks.

Day 10: Ha Noi – King’s Island Golf Full Day (B)

This morning we drive 1.5 hours to King’s Island Golf Club for a round of 18 holes at the Mountain View Course. King's Island Golf Club was the first 36-hole course in Vietnam and it is also the most beautiful Golf Course in the Northern Province of Vietnam. Tee off and enjoy the beautiful mountainous surroundings.

Day 11: Ha Noi – Ha Long – Overnight Cruise Trip (B/L/D)

This morning a scenic drive takes us to the magnificent Halong Bay, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. On arrival, board our deluxe wooden junk for an overnight journey into the Bay. As the boat sets sail on the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, prepare your appetite for an enjoyable lunch on deck. Stop to visit the floating fishing village of Vung Vieng - where you'll gain a fascinating insight into the daily life of the floating communities in the bay. During the cruise, there will be swimming and a chance to explore the area by kayak (extra cost involved). Enjoy the sunset over the bay from the sundeck while our boat weighs anchor for the night. Dine tonight on a scrumptious seafood dinner onboard.

Day 12: Ha Long – Ha Noi – Departure (B)

Rise early to enjoy the gentle breezes of the bay. Enjoy the fresh air and greet the day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck. As our boat weaves slowly through strange-shaped limestone rock formations making its way back towards the port, enjoy a wholesome brunch. There's time to explore a hidden grotto, famed for its stunning stalactites and stalagmites of all kinds before our disembarking at noon. Meet your guide and driver then transfer back to Ha Noi for your luggage deposit at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure until time to transfer you to airport for your onward flight.
